Jane has nine years' experience working as an HR consultant, including a role as a business advisor for a large Aberdeen-based specialist HR consultancy.
Jane works with businesses of all sizes and various sectors, including those operating in the charity sector, with HR matters but particularly SMEs / owner managed businesses which require weekly on-site HR support. Jane also provides ad hoc HR support in complex matters often faced by small businesses today, such as disciplinary and grievances hearings, redundancy exercises, absence review meetings and performance management matters.
Having originally started her career in private practice as an employment law solicitor, she has also represented clients in tribunals throughout Scotland in that capacity.
"Since engaging with Jane and her team, we now have a structured approach with all areas of our HR function. This helps us identify and deal with the key risks arising in relation to HR matters. As a professional services firm, ensuring that all of our employees are fully engaged is key to driving our business forward and Jane has helped us hugely in developing and implementing our plans in this area."
David Holt, HR Partner, Consilium Chartered Accountants
"As a busy small enterprise we so value and appreciate the help and support from Jane and her team and would highly recommend this service to any business."
Joanna Dunbar, MD, UK Health Enterprises Ltd
"Jane and her team at Prism HR have assisted us recently with HR Consultancy matters. It was helpful to have a fresh pair of eyes to assist and be seen to be impartial for staff. Jane offers pragmatic, client focussed advice and support and this is welcomed. As a charity we appreciate the experience Jane brings in terms of working within charities at a senior level as well as an awareness of the challenges charities face. I’d be very happy to recommend Prism HR to any business that needs HR Consultancy support."
