This year as part of our fundraising initiative in Dundee, staff in our Tayside offices have been involved in a variety of activities in an effort to raise funds for their chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.
One of the initiatives saw the team put their skates on for a charity curling match against a team from Macmillan’s Move More Dundee project. The experience was so enjoyable that, our colleagues were keen to continue curling and began training for this year’s season.
We now have an enthusiastic team of staff involved and are pleased to announce our support the 2019/2020 Scottish Curling Construction League at Dundee Ice Area. Each month the team of staff from our Dundee office will be competing against another Tayside team and will be working towards securing a place in the final which is set to take place in March 2020.
Chris Todd, Property Partner in Dundee, commented: “We are really looking forward to the competition and would like to thank Scottish Curling for the invaluable training and support they have provided to us.”
David Jones, Development Officer at Scottish Curling said: “We are delighted to be working with Lindsays and would like to thank them for helping us support local curling at Dundee Ice Arena.
You can follow the progress of our Curling team on our social media channels, where will be keeping up to date with their match fixtures and results.
