The 2016 National Cross Country Championships mark the conclusion of the second year of the Lindsays Cross Country Season and Ian Beattie, our Chief Operating Officer was among the 840 Senior Men who entered the 12k race.
Andrew Butchart (Central AC) and Beth Potter (Glasgow AC) took the winners titles in the Senior Men’s and Women’s races respectively. The full results are available here.
This event also recorded a record total of ‘finisher numbers’ of just over 1700 – the highest since the men’s and women’s championships merged and also topped the overall tally for 1987 (when more entries were received in what was then just a male-only event).
Our partnership with scottishathletics allows members and clubs to benefit from an exclusive package of legal services that will result in further investment in the club network.
