Kathleen Gaughan has recently joined our Dispute Resolution & Litigation (DRL) team in Edinburgh as a trainee solicitor.
Kathleen studied at the University of Edinburgh for both her Bachelor of Law (LLB) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice where she also took part in the University’s Free Legal Advice Centre’s ‘Small Claims Project’ – a new initiative offering free advice and representation in potential small claims disputes. Kathleen’s interest in litigation was strengthened during work experience in the court department of well-established West Lothian firm Caesar & Howie.
Douglas Millar, Partner and Head of Lindsays' Litigation group, commented: “I am delighted that Kathleen has joined Lindsays. We are keen to welcome enthusiastic young lawyers to our team as we appreciate the potential of developing new talent and the benefits of offering opportunities to graduates starting out on their legal career.”
Lindsays DRL team offers advice and expertise in areas such as commercial and contract disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, debt recovery and repossessions, personal injury claims, arbitration and landlord and tenant law. Our firm works with corporate clients as well as individuals.
