We are pleased to welcome another appointment amid a year of growth as Juan Casal has been appointed as an Associate in our Corporate and Commercial team, based in Edinburgh.
Having started his career in Argentina, he brings with him a wealth of experience in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder agreements.
Juan completed his legal qualification in Argentina before requalifying in English law in 2021. He has worked in-house at top-ranked firms in Argentina, England and Scotland.

Juan’s appointment is the latest of a recent series in Lindsays’ Corporate department, following those of Nicholas Howie as a Partner and Carla Mitchell as a Solicitor, both based in Glasgow.
The firm also completed its biggest merger to date - with Miller Hendry - which saw over 50 partners and staff from offices in Perth, Crieff and Dundee joining its fold in May.
