All of our “Make a Will” appointments for 2024 have now been allocated.
We would like to thank all our generous clients who took part and supported SAMH this year. If you would like to discuss your Will requirements with a member of our team, our usual Will appointments are available. To book an appointment please fill out the contact us form.
This October, Lindsays is proud to be partnering with Scotland’s leading mental health charity, SAMH, to launch "Make a Will Month." This new initiative offers an exceptional opportunity to secure your loved ones' future by creating or updating your Will while supporting a vital cause.
During "Make a Will Month," Lindsays is waiving its usual legal fees for drafting or updating Wills. Instead, we’re asking you to donate to SAMH, Scotland’s national mental health charity.
Not only will you be ensuring that your wishes are properly documented, and your family is protected, but you'll also be contributing to the critical mental health support SAMH provides across Scotland.
How it works
For this special campaign, Lindsays is recommending a donation of £200 for an individual Will or £300 for a pair of ‘mirror’ Wills. This offer is specifically for simple Wills, ensuring that straightforward legal needs are met efficiently. Should your circumstances require a more complex approach, our team will discuss the options with you—without any obligation to proceed.
To get started, simply complete the online form on our website, quoting “SAMH Wills Month” in your message. A member of our team will then contact you to arrange a consultation where we’ll discuss your specific requirements.
Why making a will is essential
Many people put off making a Will, thinking it’s unnecessary or that they don’t have enough assets to justify one. However, this can lead to costly and stressful situations for your loved ones. If you have savings, property, children under 16, dependents, or simply want to protect your family from potential legal disputes, making a Will is crucial.
A Will is not just about allocating your assets; it’s about ensuring that your wishes are followed and that your loved ones are cared for. It helps prevent uncertainty and safeguards the rights and finances of those closest to you.
