We are delighted that our support for future legal professionals continues as we extend a warm welcome to our five new trainees who start their rotations in a variety of departments across our three offices.
Our new trainees start their rotations across our three city offices as follows: Kaytlin Irvine (Commercial Property) and Kirsten Boettcher (Dispute Resolution and Litigation) in Edinburgh; Jonathan Carey (Employment) and Carla Codona (Personal Injury) in Glasgow and Emma McFarlane (Residential Conveyancing) joins our Dundee office.
Alasdair Cummings, our Managing Partner who was himself a trainee with the firm, said “We are delighted to welcome our five new trainees. Our goal is to have the right staff with the right skills to advise and support clients. And we want our staff to understand the Lindsays way – we are not about transactions, we are about relationships.
“Our focus on relationships is true for our clients as well as our staff. We have many lawyers and partners who completed their traineeships with us – me included.
“I hope, one day, we might be able to say the same about Kaylin, Kirsten, Jonathan, Carla and Emma.”
As a trainee at Lindsays our new starts will gain an understanding of clients’ needs and have the opportunity to work across different areas of law. They will have direct contact with clients and hands on involvement with projects and transactions.
During their traineeship they will gain experience in three different departments over two years and will be equipped with the right skills to develop their careers as lawyers.
