We are pleased to announce that we are partnering with Social Investment Scotland to help deliver their Investment Readiness workshops in Dundee and Edinburgh in March and April 2017. Due to the level of interest, two events are now scheduled in Edinburgh – full details and links to book places are here.
Social Investment Scotland (SIS) is a charity and social enterprise that provides loans to other charities, social enterprises and community groups across Scotland.
The Government sponsored events, which have now been running for four years, are free to attend and are aimed at charities, social enterprises, community enterprises and advisors operating in the third sector. They will inform charitable organisations about alternative options to secure funding in challenging times.
Alastair Keatinge, Partner and head of our Charities and Social Enterprise team, will be speaking at the Edinburgh workshops and Kate Wyatt, a Partner in our Employment team, will share her expertise at the Dundee event.
Alastair commented: “Our partnership with SIS in delivering these workshops will hopefully highlight the alternative funding options available for not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises as the sector faces increased financial pressure.”
