A promotion double
We’re pleased to tell you about two recent promotions in our Commercial Property and Personal Injury teams. Our people are at the heart of everything we do for clients at Lindsays, so we’re always delighted to tell you our people news, such as promotions or new starts. In this issue of Lindsays Life, we're celebrating a brace of promotions, including one to Partner.
First on the honour roll is Louise Norris, who is promoted to Partner in our Commercial Property department. This is Louise’s sixth promotion in seven years since joining us in 2014.
Before that, she spent a decade in the US where she specialised in property law and acted on behalf of high-net-worth individuals, developers and insurance companies. She is now based in our offices in Glasgow, working across the full spectrum of commercial property and across sectors from retail to hospitality to industrial development and third sector.
Also on the honour roll is Rachel Holt, promoted from Senior Solicitor to Associate in the Personal Injury team.
Rachel is also Glasgow-based and she joined us as a solicitor in 2018. She now heads up the accidents at work team, and also acts for pursuers in a variety of areas, including road traffic accidents, public and occupiers’ liability, medical negligence and industrial disease, winning praise for her technical excellence and people skills.
Welcoming both promotions, Alasdair Cummings, our Managing Partner, said: “We are delighted to congratulate Louise and Rachel on their new roles. These promotions are testament to their personal talent and hard work, as well as the firm’s commitment to recognising and rewarding that by providing opportunities for progression.”
...and our new team members
Sally Maclean (Senior Solicitor), Sophie Riise (Solicitor) and Rebeca Marshall (Senior Solicitor) all joined the Residential Conveyancing team in the Edinburgh office.
Pauline Heffron joined the Personal Injury team in Glasgow as a paralegal.
