We are delighted to welcome three new trainees, Calum Stewart, Emma McGinley and Claire Brown who have started their rotations across our three city offices in Rural Services (Edinburgh), Dispute Resolution (Glasgow) and Residential Conveyancing (Dundee) respectively.
A Lindsays trainee will gain an understanding of clients’ needs and have the opportunity to work across different areas of law. They will have direct contact with clients and hands on involvement with projects and transactions.
Alasdair Cummings, our Managing Partner who was himself a trainee with the firm, said:
“We are delighted to welcome our three new trainees. Our goal is to have the right staff with the right skills to ensure we have excellent people to advise and support clients. We are committed to investing in our people and believe in helping our staff succeed.”
During their traineeship they will gain experience in three different departments over two years and will be equipped with the right skills to develop their careers as lawyers.
Iona Kelly, our HR Director commented:
“As well as the legal skills they will acquire, our trainees will also learn how to deal with people who may be going through a very stressful situation and need guidance and practical support; to work as a team member and communicate effectively with colleagues; to know when to seek advice from someone more experienced; and understand the importance of building up a network of contacts.”
